Disruption has been reported on the Merseyrail network in Chester this afternoon (Friday, March 15) due to disorder.
The rail operator has confirmed one of its trains on the Chester line was waiting for the police to arrive due to the incident.
As a result, it said some of its trains may face delays or cancellations.
The 2.15pm Liverpool-Chester and 2.45pm Chester-Liverpool services were affected, the first running non-stop between Birkenhead Central and Chester and the latter running non-stop between Hooton and Birkenhead Central.
