A Chester man died after the vehicle he was driving hit a stationary lorry, an inquest has concluded.

Simon Graves, 27, of Blacon, was travelling on the A483 between the junction with the A55 (Posthouse Roundabout) and the Rossett Interchange on the morning of Monday, August 7, in a BMW.

At Cheshire Coroner's Court on Wednesday, March 27, presiding area coroner Jacqueline Devonish said Mr Graves was found to have driven at the stationary vehicle.

Mr Graves, a mechanic by trade, sadly died following the collision.

The area coroner gave a written conclusion of suicide, and expressed her condolences.
