TWO fire crews were called out to a crash near Chester which led to the road being closed.
Firefighters attended the scene on the A54 at Delamere at about about 6.10pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 24).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision.
"A casualty was trapped in one of the vehicles so firefighters worked with paramedics to release the casualty, who was then taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service."
Firefighters left the scene at 7.30pm.
