A major road on the England/Wales border on the outskirts of Chester is closed this morning following a collision.
North Wales Police have confirmed the section of the A548 Sealand Road between the junction for Western Avenue, Blacon and the junction for Birchenfield Farm has been closed due to a road traffic collision.
The force added: "Please avoid the area for the time being."
No further details have been provided at this stage.
Chester-bound traffic has been diverted via Saughall through Seahill Road. Traffic heading out of Chester should travel either through Blacon and Saughall or use the A540 Parkgate Road to get to North Wales.
