FIRE crews were called to a camper van and car on fire near Bolesworth Castle.
Fire engines from Chester and Malpas were called to the scene on Bolesworth Hill Road just after 6.15pm yesterday (Thursday, July 25).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters, wearing two breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"Crews then checked for hot spots and dampened down.
"People were evacuated from the area as a precaution and two people were treated by medic on site for shock."
Bolesworth Castle is the venue for Chris Evans' CarFest event this weekend.
