CREWS were called out to a car fire in Chester yesterday afternoon (July 29).
One fire engine from Chester Fire Station was sent to the incident on Dee Fords Avenue in Boughton at 3.53pm.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended a fire involving a car in Dee Fords Avenue, Chester.
"The fire was out on arrival and crews used a hose reel to damp down the vehicle while using a thermal imaging camera to check the temperature to ensure it didn't reignite."
