The closure of the A550 is now affecting traffic on the M53
The A550 Welsh Road is closed in both directions following a lorry blaze this morning.
Emergency services were called to Parkgate Road around 10:20am to find an HGV trailor on fire.
Traffic is currently queuing between the Two Mills Traffic Lights and Ledsham Road (B5463).
The road closure is also causing traffic in Eastham at junction 5 of the M53.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
