TWO fire crews were called out to a car fire on the M56.
Firefighters discovered the car well alight on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 10 and Junction nine at about 12.40pm today (Friday, December 3).
Wearing a breathing apparatus, crews used a hose reel to put out the flames of the car.
No one was trapped in the vehicle and those in the car were accounted for.
Crews then checked the temperature using a thermal imaging camera.
