EMERGENCY services have reported that sadly a body has been found in the River Dee by The Groves in Chester today (Friday, July 15).
Police and fire teams were called to the scene by Queens Park Bridge just before 2pm.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 1.57pm on Friday 15 July police were called to Queens Park Bridge in Chester following reports of a body in the River Dee.
"Officers are at the scene and have recovered the body from the river.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
No further details have been provided at present.
