POLICE are appealing for information after men wearing masks broke into a house in Cheshire while a woman and three-year-old child were inside.
The incident happened yesterday, Tuesday, January 31, at some time between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
Four men wearing masks forced entry into an address in West Lane, High Legh, and searched the property before fleeing the scene with jewellery.
At the time a 25-year-old woman and a three-year-old child were at the address.
PC Natalie Palin said: “Thankfully neither were harmed but they were left shaken by the ordeal.
“We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage that may help, or anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.”
