THE popular Deepbridge Polo Series returns to Chester Racecourse this week.

The event, taking place across two days, has an exciting new theme: 'POLOFEST'. Saturday, June 24, will see the fast-paced polo action together with a range of family-friendly activities.

There will be opportunities for children to make their own festival style headbands, a glitter and tattoo station, painting with bubbles, craft activities, a DJ, a paper disco, garden games, a giant colouring wall and giant volleyball.

The event is free for children aged 17 and under with a paying adult. Dogs are also welcome.

Chester Polo Club has become a highlight of the Cheshire social scene as crowds flock to enjoy an afternoon of sport and vibrancy with entertainment, food and drink for all the family.

Fierce competition is always anticipated from the worthiest contenders all fighting for the prestigious Deepbridge Polo Series silverware, with the title awarded in a Laurent Perrier Champagne-soaked presentation.

Steve Davies, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Racecourse, said: "The Deepbridge Polo Series promises to be an amazing day out for all the family, combining the thrill of watching live polo with an array of fantastic POLOFEST activities for children. It’s an opportunity to witness outstanding play and sportsmanship in an environment that brings everybody together to create long-lasting memories.

"Our decision to extend free child admission up to the age of 17 means that we can now enhance our offering for families and provide a great value day out for those new to the sport or returning to the Roodee for a fun-filled day of entertainment."
