A 31-year-old woman has been found dead at a park in Ellesmere Port, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to Whitby Park on the morning of Thursday, November 30, following reports of concern for the welfare of a woman, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Cheshire Constabulary said in a statement: "At 11.41am on Thursday 30 November, police were called to a park on Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port, following reports of a concern for welfare of a woman.
"Officers attended and sadly a 31-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
