Emergency crews were called out to tackle a car fire in Chester on Saturday morning (February 17).
The incident, involving a single BMW, happened on Blacon Avenue, near the Aldi Roundabout, at about 9am.
Police and fire crews were deployed to the scene, with Blacon Avenue being closed in both directions for the duration of the incident.
Fortunately there were no reports of any injuries.
Fire crews put out the blaze and damped down the vehicle to remove any traces of hot spots, with a recovery vehicle deployed to the scene at about 10.45am to clear away the burnt-out BMW.
It is understood the cause of the fire is believed to have been an electrical fault.
