FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident at a property in Chester.

Two fire engines, from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port attended the scene in Ullswater Crescent at about 2.55pm yesterday (Sunday, May 5).

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a house after a report of rubbish on fire which had spread to the adjacent building.

"Crews used one hose reel to damp down the smouldering waste, which had caused slight damage to an external window fascia of the property."
