FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident involving a digger this afternoon (Thursday, September 5) in a village near Chester.
Fire engines from Northwich and Winsford were called to the scene on Eaton Lane in Tarporely at around 12.30pm.
Officers wore breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
