A CELEBRITY cricket match to help give young people "a sporting chance" was held in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle.
Hundreds of people gathered a the castle for the return of the Lord's Taverners Celebrity Cricket Match.
Presenter and writer Nick Hancock led his team of celebrities and sportsmen for the sporting contest, which this year featured familiar faces such as former footballer Don Goodman, BBC Breakfast Sports presenter Mike Bushell, actor Gordon Kennedy and cricketer Monty Panesar.
Among those watching on with interest were former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, Granada Reports presenter Lucy Meacock and TalkSPORT presenter Geoff Peters.
The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, giving disadvantaged and disabled young people access to sport.
The day included a charity auction led by Adam Partridge, of BBC's Flog it and Bargain Hunt.
The end of the day saw Tom Fearnall present the Mark (Foxy) Fearnall Memorial Trophy to the winning team captain Chris England.
