The MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston has attended an event aimed at a future without homelessness.
Justin Madders joined the 'Make History: Build a Future Free From Homelessness' event, organised by the charity Crisis, which aimed to bring to light the human stories behind soaring homelessness.
Insights were given by panel speakers Baroness Hilary Armstrong and Sir David Lidington on how the government could tackle homelessness.
Homelessness and Information Network (CHAIN) stats revealed more than 2,000 people slept rough in London for the first time between January and March this year.
Concurrently, recently released UK Government data showed record numbers of households – as many as 112,660, including over 145,800 children – housed in temporary accommodation such as B&Bs.
