Sophie Ecclestone reflected on an amazing summer after being named the PCA Women's Player of the Year.
Chester-born Ecclestone has made herself a key component of the England Women's XI after a number of impressive performances.
The left-arm spinner, 19, said: “It’s just an amazing summer for me. At the start of the summer if you said ‘play every game from India to now’, I would’ve been like ‘Na that’ won’t happen’.
“I’m so proud of myself.
“Now to be playing on the big stage with all the girls is obviously amazing.
“My family have worked so hard for me and I’ve worked hard for myself. it tops off an amazing year.
“Definitely extra special to know they (my team mates) recognise what I’ve done as well, so it’s extra nice.”
Kent all-rounder Joe Denly has been voted PCA Players' Player of the Year.
Denly, whose form in 2018 earned him a call-up to England's Test squad to face Sri Lanka next month, was selected ahead of Rory Burns, Rikki Clarke and Ollie Pope at the Professional Cricketers' Association awards ceremony in London.
The 32-year-old also picked up the T20 Blast Player of the Year and the One-Day Cup Player of the Year, as well as being selected in The Team of the Year.
Surrey player Pope took home the John Arlott Cup for the NatWest PCA Young Player of the Year.
England's James Anderson was named the Test Player of the Summer after becoming the most prolific seam bowler in Test cricket.
