HERBERT DERRICK WILLIAMS 09.12.1922 - 13.07.2019 Aged 96 Years. Derrick died peacefully on Saturday 13th July after a long and happy life. He was an exceptionally gifted all round sportsman and also went to Liverpool University to read Maths and Physics. Unfortunately both careers were disrupted by the Second World War. He lived nearly all of his life in Little Sutton and will be remembered by most for owning The Carlton Shop and Bakehouse. His steak pies were famous locally and quickly sold out each day. We will be celebrating his life at Blacon Crematorium on 5th August at 2pm. Please do not wear black unless you specifically want to. No flowers please.
