ARTHUR WHITFIELD It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Arthur Whitfield announce his passing on 21st March 2020 at the age of 84. Arthur passed away peacefully at Brimstage Manor Care Home, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Shirley, his daughters, Jayne and Alison, his son-in-law, Ed, and his grandchildren, Joseph and Christian. Arthur worked at Shell Thornton Research Centre and was a keen rambler and gardener and a member of Shell Rifle Section. The funeral service will be held at Blacon Crematorium on Monday 6th April, but unfortunately due to the current Covid-19 restrictions only immediate family can attend. We are planning a celebration of Arthur's life once the restrictions have been lifted. Please make any donations in memory of Arthur to The Alzheimer's Society or The Hospice of the Good Shepherd at Backford. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
