STEBBING Derek William Peacefully passed away at the Countess of Chester Hospital on 26th December 2022, aged 90 years. Dear dad to Pat and John, father-in-law to Will and Sheena, granddad to Jamie, Sian, Bobby, Patrick, Greg, Freya and Holly. Derek will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service and Committal on Wednesday 18th January 2023 at Chester Crematorium at 10:40 a.m. Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Hospice of the Good Shepherd would be gratefully received. Uncle Derek left us on a day that traditionally united our families. Derek was the party cheerer on Boxing Day (or any many other days in the year ... But Boxing Day was reserved), . Rarely saw my own dad look as happy as when recounting old stories and shenanigans from their E'Port days of the 50s. He will never be forgotten. As much a part of our lives as Christmas itself.
