CROMPTON Robert Redford 'Bob' Peacefully passed away at Countess of Chester Hospital on 11th June 2023, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth. Much loved father of Emma, Sarah, Matthew and father-in-law to Peter. Adored grandad of Joseph, Benjamin, Samuel and Rose. Bob will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Robert was a former mayor of Ellesmere Port and Sheriff of Chester during his time serving as a local councillor with Cheshire West and Chester Council. Funeral Service on Thursday 22nd June 2023 at Chester Crematorium at 3:20 p.m.Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Young Carers would be gratefully received. We were shocked to hear of Bobs passing. Having met him in the 90's he was always friendly and went on to become a brilliant Councilor working diligently for his community. We are sorry Liz for your loss, Bob will be truly missed.
