THOMPSON Basil Basil passed away on the morning of Monday the 31st of July, peacefully at home, after a short illness. He was 94. He was a partner at Nicholas Street surgery and retired 30 years ago. His wife Rachel died last September. The funeral will be held at 3.20pm on Thursday the 31st of August at Chester Crematorium and the wake afterwards at Crabwall Manor Hotel from 4.00pm onwards. JC Clarke Hoole are handling the funeral. If anyone wants to share any reminisces, funny stories or special moments about Basil which we will put into a book at the Wake, please send them to JC Clarke.
