STROUD Gordon Passed away peacefully at Upton Dene Residential & Nursing Home on 5th December 2023, aged 92 years. Dearly loved Husband of Sheila. Beloved Father of Paul and David and Father-in-law of Jo and Sharon. Adored Grandfather of Rebecca, Daniel, Michael and Joseph. Cherished Brother of Malcolm and Brother-in-law of Norma. Special Uncle of Sharon, Julie, Jayne and Rachel. Gordon worked for the NHS Family Practitioner Committee for 40 years, reaching the positions of Chief Administrator and President of the Association. In retirement he enjoyed family time alongside holidays, playing bowls in Chester and golf at Northop Hall. Gordon will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held on Friday 5th January 2024 at Chester Crematorium at 12 noon. Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Cancer Research UK would be gratefully received.
