TAKE a look at the new dog-friendly cafe that has opened its doors in Thurstaston.
Flissy's Coffee Shop at GJ's, situated on Station Road, Thurstaston, offers food for both owners and their four-legged friends.
With a 'Star Barks' shed outside, dogs are made to feel very welcome and this weekend, they will be offering a free doggy sausage with every purchase to mark National Dog Day.
Owner Felicity Dean said: "We took over GJ's around five months ago.
"Summer has naturally been so busy and now we have our doggy watering station, everyone loves it.
"In the past the cafe had a lot of dog bowls just scattered everywhere but now dogs are treated like customers and they have their own section which is tidier and has a lovely design.
"We've had 100% great feedback, our customers love it and we've had a complete refurbishment.
"On offer there is ice cream for dogs and this weekend we're giving away a free dog sausage with every purchase.
"We also have dog treats from Small Oak who use natural ingredients.
"Owners have even found dogs deliberately walking back into the cafe to get a treat.
"Outside we have a little shed called 'Star Barks' and it has gone down a treat."
