OFFICERS investigating a racially aggravated public order offence in Cheshire have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
It occurred at a convenience store on Lower Appleton Road, Widnes, at about 1pm on Saturday, May 2.
A shop worker was racially abused during the incident.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are looking to trace the man in the CCTV images as they believe he will be able to aid their investigation.
They are appealing for anyone who recognises him or knows who he is to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Ian Whiley, of Widnes Local Policing Unit, said: “We are determined to establish who racially abused the shop worker and make them face the consequences of their actions.
“We believe that the man in the CCTV images will be able to help us in that regard.
