OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses following an incident at an Ellesmere Port takeaway in which a group of teenagers were "making racist remarks and throwing nappies at staff".
It happened at the Ellesmere Port Kebab and Pizza House in Regent Street at around 6pm on Monday, August 17.
Police described it as a "distressing" incident for the staff.
Cheshire Constabulary's 'Grange Police - Ellesmere Port' Facebook account posted this evening: "Staff have reported local teenagers making racist remarks and throwing nappies at staff.
"If you witnessed this incident on 17th Aug approx 6pm please call 101 quoting IML 783015.
"This was distressing to staff who work hard providing us all with a much valued service."
