KEANE will be performing in Delamere Forest next summer as Forest Live is scheduled to return to the area in 2021.

It was always planned that Forest Live would be taking a break from Delamere Forest in 2020, even before the onset of this year's pandemic, as the beauty spot is undergoing a multi-million-pound revamp to create a new visitor hub, landscaping improvements and 67 Forest Holidays cabins.

The popular Forest Live concerts have in the past seen acts including Tears for Fears, Paul Weller and Sir Tom Jones perform.

Now Keane have announced they will be at Delamere Forest as part of Forest Live, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England, on June 19, 2021.

After a six-year hiatus, the band made a long overdue return in 2019 with their latest studio album ‘Cause and Effect’ and a triumphant sold-out UK tour.

This release follows on from a succession of previous No 1 albums that have accumulated over 13 million sales worldwide: ‘Under The Iron Sea’, ‘Perfect Symmetry’, ‘Night Train’, ‘Strangeland’ and the seminal debut smash, ‘Hopes and Fears’.

Generating hit singles ‘Somewhere Only We Know’, ‘Everybody’s Changing’, ‘This Is The Last Time’ and ‘Bedshaped’, this recording became one of the biggest selling albums in UK chart history. Keane last appeared as part of Forest Live in 2010.

Keane, with special guests Flyte and support from Michael Ryan, will be at Delamere Forest on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, September 25 at www.forestryengland.uk/music
