FIRE crews were called out to an Ellesmere Port industrial building after reports that a cherry picker had gone up in flames.
Crews were called at 3.10pm yesterday afternoon [Saturday] to reports of a vehicle fire on North Road.
At 3.10pm, firefighters from the Ellesmere Port station found that a cherry picker which was well alight.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, they then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
"Firefighters were detained at the scene for around 90 minutes."
