REVISED plans for 60 new homes to be built at a new housing estate in Hooton have been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The development, on land off the former Roften Works on Hooton Road, is currently creating hundreds of new houses.
Now developers Stewart Milne Homes have submitted a replan for a section of the development which was originally going to comprise of 44 homes, for which planning permission had already been approved.
They now wish the 6.3 acre plot to comprise of 60 homes, which would be a mixture of two, three, four, five and six-bedroom mews, semi-detached and detached units.
In a design and access statement, the developers say: "The materials and design of the dwellings is wholly in character with its surroundings and its scale of development is fitting and sensitive to the neighbouring properties.
"We therefore believe the scheme meets all the requirements of the council, the objective of the neighbourhood plan and principles of good design across the country."
