A MAN suffered a serious facial injury after being punched outside a pub in Cheshire.

It occurred outside the Old Star public house on Swanlow Lane, Winsford, shortly before midnight on Saturday, May 8.
The victim, a 24-year-old man from Winsford, was punched in the face by an unknown man and suffered a serious facial injury.
He was taken to hospital following the incident and has since been discharged.

They are urging anyone who recognises him or thinks they may know who he is to get in touch.
Detective Constable Stevie Jackson, of Northwich CID, said: “We believe that the man in the CCTV image may have important information to help with our ongoing investigation into a serious assault in the town centre.
