FOUR people were taken to hospital after a two car crash on the M56 today.
One fire crew attended the collision between junction 14 and 12 at about 2.15pm (Wednesday, May 2).
Firefighters made all the vehicles safe after the occupants self extricated. The vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.
Absorbent mats were used to soak up fuel that had leaked onto the road.
Paramedics and police also attended to the scene.
A man and a woman from one of the vehicles and two others attended hospital as a precaution.
