POLICE were called to an 'attempted occupation' of Chester Crown Court on Friday afternoon (August 13).
The group, believed to be demonstrators, had arrived at The Castle building at about 1.30pm and refused to leave the premises.
The Standard understands the group was intending to remain in the building over the weekend as part of an 'attempted occupation'.
Officers were called to engage with those present.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 1.31pm on Friday, August 13, police were called to Chester Crown Court in Grosvenor Road following reports of a group of approximately 10 people entering the court and refusing to leave.
"Officers attended the scene engaged with those present, who all left the court by 6.30pm.
"No arrests were made."
