THE weekly 'parkrun' returns to Delamere Forest this weekend.
The 5km run takes place at 9am on Saturday, August 21.
Forestry England is expecting the event to be "busier than ever" so has provided visitors with advice so everyone can have "a safe and enjoyable time".
The Delamere Forest Facebook page posted: "We look forward to welcoming you back to parkrun at Delamere on Saturday 21st August.
"We know that many of you can’t wait to get back to your weekly forest fix, and we are expecting parkrun events to be busier than ever.
"Please follow the advice below to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time:
"Parking will be in our designated events parking area. If you need to drive to the forest, please allow extra time, follow staff directions and signage, and make sure you have an alternative plan if the car park is full.
"Please do not park in laybys, on verges, in front of gates, or restrict other road users or pedestrians.
"Please adhere to the site speed limit of 15mph to keep yourself, residents, other parkrun participants, day visitors and our staff safe.
"Please bring your own water and refreshments if you can. If you plan to use our on-site catering outlets, please be aware there may be queues.
"After you have completed your parkrun, you are welcome to stay for as long as you like – but please spread out, make use of the wider forest, and avoid mingling in busy areas.
"Please respect our staff and parkrun volunteers who are working hard to keep everyone safe.
