SCORES of people turned out to pay their respects at this year’s Annual Service of Remembrance at Chester Cathedral.
A military parade set off from Bridge Street at 10.10am and marched to the Cathedral.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, a full outdoor service was held in the Cathedral grounds and St Werburgh Street at 10.30am.
Members of the public were able to attend and view the service from St Werburgh Street’s footpaths and the surrounding area.
The service was followed by the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, in the Garden of Remembrance outside the Cathedral, at 10.55am when wreaths were laid.
