CARFEST, the brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, has announced its planned return to Bolesworth Estate on the outskirts of Chester next year.
Tickets for the event, which runs from July 22-24, will go on sale on Thursday, November 18, from 8am.
Next year sees CarFest mark its 11th year, with an exciting new vision and plans to take visitors on an incredible journey through seven magical festivals within one big festival.
The festival will immerse visitors into the worlds of cars, food, wellness, adventure, retro, family fun and stardom, with everyone coming together every evening in the main arena for a night packed with top performances.
The Main Stage features a line-up of acts that will reignite some great musical memories whilst celebrating some of the UK’s freshest new talent.
Previous main stage artists at CarFest North have included the likes of McFly, Texas, Roger Daltrey and most recently Rag’n’Bone Man.
This year CarFest’s refreshed new content includes:
- Cars at CarFest: CarFest will be honouring hero drivers, hero brands and hero cars, from past, present and future.
- StarFest: This year, StarFest is more than just a stage, it’s a brand new arena, where visitors can meet the stars, walk the red carpet and even experience what it’s like to be in the director’s chair at the TV, Film, Book and Comedy festival!
- WellFest: This festival can help visitors on their journey towards a healthy mind, healthy body and healthy spirit The Well Being Marketplace gives visitors the opportunity to buy all the fitness products, healthy food, books and other essentials.
- The Great British Food Fest: This festival is the perfect place for foodies, where visitors can celebrate everything great about British food, from favourite regional produce, to celebrity chefs and the country’s favourite delicacies.
- RetroFest: Step back in time and discover the world from the past, with cars, music, fashion and toys from the good old days.
- KidsFest: All brand new for this year with the Children In Need Stage featuring not just Pudsey and Blush, but a host of CBBC and CBeebies favourite presenters, characters and shows brought to life throughout the day. Plus, lots of favourite family activities, including arts and crafts workshops, giant games, toys, and inflatables, the ever-popular silent disco and more.
- AdventureFest: After a year of staycations, join CarFest on a globe-trotting adventure across the continents and take a chance to discover the great outdoors.
Plus the headliners on the Main Stage, from regular favourites to exciting new acts.
CarFest was created by Evans in 2012 with the sole purpose of raising funds for UK children’s charities. It has, over the past 10 years, successfully raised over £19 million for BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust and other local charities and hospices.
