After two years without it, beer fans can now rejoice as Tarporley Beer Festival returns to the Tarporley and District Community Centre next month.
The event's organisers say that despite being unable to run the festival since 2020 they've "not stopped working hard in search of the best and bountiful brews from around the UK" and will be showcasing them on the 22 and 23 April.
There will be light, amber and dark ales as well as ciders and gins on offer. Music will be provided by The Warning Flower and there will be some fantastic food options also.
Dates had been arranged for January but this was then moved to April. However, places remain available for both new nights.
Tickets are £11.37 and the money raised provides much needed funds for Tarporley C of E Primary School and local community clubs and organisations.
Emma Hunter, chair of Tarporley C of E Primary, said:"Tarporley Beer Festival is not only one of the largest events in the community’s calendar year, it is also the biggest fundraiser for Tarporley C of E Primary School PTA, while contributing to other charities in the village too.
"Not being able to put on such a festival over the last couple of years has resulted in reduced fundraising opportunities for our school and our children, but also meant our parents and local community missed out on coming together to share in a fantastic event.
"We are thrilled to be able to host Tarporley Beer Festival again this year, and we know that the community is certainly ready for its return, with the initial Saturday night ticket allocation selling out in just one week!
"We still have Friday night tickets available for sale, with a selection of craft beers, ciders, gins and even alcohol free spirits to enjoy.
"We can’t wait to get back to normal, and enjoy yet another beer-tastic weekend!"
