Nine cows had to be transported to safety after they escaped into a residential street in Cheshire yesterday.
Lymm Fire Station tweeted that they had "moo-ved" the young animals, one of which had to be recovered from a nearby canal, after they were spotted in Middlewich on Sunday evening (13 March).
Fire crews from Lymm, Middlewich and Bollington had worked together to manoeuvre the cows into a secure area until they could be taken back to safety.
