The A483 Grosvenor Road travelling into Chester was partially blocked by a vehicle which struck the bridge this morning.
Traffic is currently queuing from the A5104 Hough Green (Overleigh roundabout) to A5268 Grosvenor Street this morning (Monday 28 March) after a vehicle hit Grosvenor Bridge.

People have noted "significant damage" to the bridge on social media, with some stating that tailbacks reached as far as Saltney.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has confirmed the bridge will be closed 'for a short time' from 7pm, while the authority's highways engineers make the bridge safe.
