The Suburbs is set for refurbishment so we spoke to The Big Man about what customers can expect.
Charles Street bar and restaurant, The Suburbs, announced yesterday (4 April) via its social media accounts that it would be closing its doors temporarily whilst it underwent some changes with the business set to reopen on Thursday 7 April with an updated look and a new menu.
The Suburbs said: "Heads up Burbs Fam, we're closed for a little refurb - but will be back on Thursday!"

Kingdom Thenga, owner of The Suburbs, told The Standard: "After nine years it needed a refresh. People can expect a vibrant, fresh and more efficient Suburbs.
"Comfort and that neighbourhood bar feel is always key and after the last two years of the pandemic, we wanted to start looking forward."
Mr Thenga said that as whilst there maybe some changes, the elements which made the award winning venue so popular will remain.
"There will be a new food menu and the decor may look a little different, but it will still have the true Suburbs feel.
"It will have that same mojo but just a new look for the next five years."
The restaurateur, who also owns The Yard and Old Dukes, says that a "significant amount of money" has been spent on the update.
"Its an investment and it feels like the right point in time [to make it].
"We want to have a venue that is at the heart of the community."
The Suburbs is set to reopen from 5.00pm on Thursday with the business keen to show both new and returning customers its new look.
