Pupils from Archers Brook SEMH School were congratulated by WBO Bantamweight Champion of the World, Paul Butler.
Preston Beaven, Kaden Wright and Decon Nuttall are the latest crop of students to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards, with the group having gone "from strength to strength".
The scheme is increasing in popularity at the school, with Archers Brook noticing that pupils are benefitting from "higher levels of confidence, improved resilience and increased motivation".
Paul Butler, who is from Ellesmere Port, recently lifted the WBO title after beating Jonas Sultan by unanimous decision at the end of April and attended the school in his home town to present the students with their awards.
Schools like Archers Brook specialise in promoting and managing the social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) of its students.
The school described the meeting as "an amazing morning for the pupils and staff".
