TRAFFIC is queueing at Cheshire Oaks after the northbound entry slip road at junction 10 of the M53 was closed following a collision this afternoon.
Two vehicles are said to have been involved, with one of the vehicles, an HGV, ending up on its side.
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port has also attended the scene and firefighters were required to give casualty care to one person. Paramedics also attended the incident.
North West Motorway Police posted an update to their Twitter page at 3.24pm today (June 14) to inform motorists that the road had since been closed.

Cheshire Police say that there have been no reports of serious injuries but advise drivers to avoid the area.
