CCTV images of a man have been shared following a number of thefts from cars in Bromborough.
In one incident last month, a number of items were reported stolen from cars parked on Bowness Avenue including a coat, sunglasses and aftershave after vehicles on the road were broken into during the night.
On another evening it was reported that a man had been trying to get into parked vehicles on Pool Lane.
Items reported stolen included a laptop, purse and bank cards.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been conducted, and detectives have issued CCTV images of a man they believe could assist in their investigation.
Tim Cottrell, Community Policing Sergeant for Bromborough, said: “I am appealing to the man featured in these images, or anyone who recognises him to come forward.
"We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.”
