The BBC's new Rewind feature has made available thousands of video clips from their archives, with several clips showcasing news from Cheshire's past.
Footage goes as far back as 1948 and covers a whole range of topics.
Locally, there is footage going back decades in Chester, Ellesmere Port and the wider Cheshire area.

Over the coming months, specially selected content from the website will feature in reports for the BBC’s national and regional news and current affairs programmes, providing glimpses back in time for a wider audience.
