If you live in or around Mid Cheshire or you’ve visited before, you might’ve spotted some of the pretty spots but if you haven’t, you won’t need to look much further.

Great Budworth
Found in Northwich, Great Budworth is found near Budworth Mere and Marbury Country Park.
If you’re looking for somewhere to take a break, Great Budworth is home to an ice cream farm and a pub.
Mobberley
You’ll find Mobberley just outside Knutsford and there’s plenty to see and do.
The village is home to a golf course and fisheries plus plenty of pubs if you fancy a drink or a bite to eat.
Nether Alderley
This village can be found near Macclesfield and it has a park and you can enjoy scenic views of the water at Radnor Mere.
It’s around a 20-minuite drive to Macclesfield from Alderley.
Goostrey
Goostrey is a village near Crewe with a park, play areas and its own train station.
A drive to Knutsford from Goostrey takes around 15 minutes while a trip to Macclesfield in the car takes around 25 minutes.
Holmes Chapel
Holmes Chapel runs alongside parts of the River Dane and you can use the train station to travel out of the village.
It’s home to a play area, leisure centre and a community centre and Crewe is around a 25-minute drive from Holmes Chapel.
Lower Peover
The Peover Eye runs through Lower Peover and there are local pubs that you can visit.
To drive into Knutsford, it takes less than 10 minutes.
Plumley
Plumley has a train station, a play area and a village hall.
The Peover Eye runs alongside Plumley and it takes around 10 minutes to drive to Knutsford from the village.
Davenham
The River Weaver runs alongside some of the village and you can see the Vale Royal Locks by the river.
Also running through parts of Davenham is the River Dane and just outside the village you’ll Vale Royal Abbey, a venue for events such as weddings.
Antrobus
This village has a village hall and a wedding venue. You can make a stop at the Community Shop & Tea Room.
The drive to Warrington takes around 20 minutes in the car.
Byley
Puddinglake Brook runs along one side of the village and you’ll find a village hall and a dog park close by.
Byley is a five-minute drive from a campsite in Yatehouse Green.
Church Minshull
The village of Church Minshull has part of the River Weaver running right through it.
On your travels through the village, you’ll also spot a church as well as a pub.
Comberbach
In Comberbach, there’s a members-only campsite and a pub.
The village is less than a five-minute drive from Marbury Country Park and Budworth Mere.
High Legh
This village has good transport links with the M6 and M56 as well as the A50 close by.
It boasts a golf club, play area and Miniature Railway.
Little Budworth
Little Budworth has pubs, a church and a country park.
Just outside the village you’ll find a race track that’s used for both cars and motorbikes.
Minshull Vernon
This village has a nearby hotel and pub as well as good transport links with the A50 close by and bus routes available to use.
It’s around a 10-minute drive to Crewe by car and about 45 minutes to Macclesfield.
