IT was glorious weather for another day at the races as Chester Racecourse celebrated Ladies Day.
Thousands of punters dressed to impress and basked in the sunshine as racing returned to the Roodee once more for a packed afternoon of seven races.
Taking the spoils on the feature race of the day, the 3.05pm Chester Stakes, was River of Stars, ridden by John Egan.
Another of the highlights from the day was Percy's Lad taking victory in the 3.40pm Abacus Securities 20-year Anniversary Handicap Stakes, ridden by Tom Eaves.
