The former Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman has announced that he is engaged to his partner Celinde Schoenmaker.
Richard went on a safari with Celinde in Africa and it was there he popped the question, as revealed in a post on his Instagram.
He captioned the post: "Went to Africa with my girl. I’ll be heading home with a Fiancée
Couldn’t be happier".
Former Corrie actress Catherine Tyldesley was one of many actors associated with the show to offer their congratulations on the proposal.
She commented on the post: "Oh guys! Huuuuuge congratulations!!!!!"
The theatre actress Rosalie Mae Craig also commented, writing: "OMGGG. SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH XX".
Meanwhile, musician Joseph McGann wrote: Congratulations!!! What joyous news".
Richard appeared on Coronation Street as the character Craig Harris for 294 episodes between 2002 and 2006.
He has since gone on to have roles in TV series such as All the Small Things, Deep Heat, and most recently on the Netflix series The Sandman.
Alongside that he has had roles in theatre, such as playing Sam Wheat in the West End production of Ghost: The Musical back in 2011, and Air-Steward 'Andy' in an adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Company.
