A DEATH at a Chester hotel which saw a 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder is now being treated as unexplained.
Police had been called to Brook Street in the early hours of Wednesday morning (September 28) after concerns for the safety of a man staying at the hotel. A 30-year-old man was then rushed to the Countess of Chester Hospital where he died a short time later.
Cheshire Police had arrested a 51-year-old man at 6am on Thursday, September 30 on suspicion of murder, but have since released the man with no further action.
Following a post mortem, the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
