MODEL railway exhibition Making Tracks will be returning for a third year at Chester Cathedral.
The installation, which features scale models of iconic stretches of the UK's railways, is curated by record producer and songwriter Pete Waterman OBE, alongside Railnuts modelling group and is sponsored by independent modelling shop, Chester Model Centre. Making Tracks 2 recently finished it run at the Cathedral in July in summer 2023.
Chester Model Centre took to Twitter this morning (Monday, September 3) to announce the news, saying: "BREAKING NEWS!

Making Tracks 2 was based upon a stretch of the West Coast Main Line - the approach to Rugby station from Kilsby Tunnel in the south, to Hilmorton Junction at the north end of the model.
The scenic layout will once again be displayed within the historic setting of Chester Cathedral with both of the previous events having generated record visitor numbers.
