BUSINESS is booming at Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port, as the last square feet of business space available have been snapped up.
Property consultancy Legat Owen has let 10,500 sq ft at Aldford House in Cheshire Oaks Business Park to Argent Energy.
The deal means that there is now no available space at the park, home to a number of firms and located near the M&S superstore and the Blue Planet Aquarium.
Argent Energy was already based on the first floor, and will now expand into the whole building, having agreed a new 10-year lease with landlord Eric Wright Group.
Will Sadler, director in office agency at Legat Owen, said: “With the excellent transport links and amenities right on the doorstep, it’s not surprising that space at Cheshire Oaks is in demand. It’s been great to see Argent Energy thrive at Aldford House, and we are pleased to support them in furthering their commitment to the area.”
Patrick Naylor, group portfolio manager at Eric Wright, said: “We are delighted to see Argent Energy committing to further space at Cheshire Oaks Business Park. Along with Elan Homes, NHS, Morris and Co Accountants, Wordline, Barbour ABI and Legal Marketing Services, the business park is 100 per cent occupied.”
Nicola Dean, Chief Financial Officer at Argent Energy, said: “We are thrilled to expand and occupy the whole building at Aldford House. It’s an exciting time for Argent Energy and it’s great to have our Group Headquarters based in Cheshire Oaks Business Park.
"It’s an ideal location, and just a stone’s throw away from our biodiesel plant in Stanlow, Ellesmere Port.”
